Olivia is a Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in the treatment of trauma, anxiety and depression. Her decade long career, has included trauma informed work in hospital and community mental health settings. Olivia practices with an emphasis on understanding how life experiences impact a person’s mental, behavioral, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. She prioritizes building therapeutic relationships based on empathy, trust, vulnerability and humor.

She is a psychedelic-informed therapist trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy by the Polaris Insight Center. She is currently taking client’s interested in exploring KAP to assist in healing from trauma, depression and/or anxiety.

Olivia is deeply inspired by individuals “inner healing intelligence” and the innate ability to mend. She believes that a non-ordinary state of consciousness can open the mind to that healing process and help to facilitate new patterns of thinking and being. Her role is to assist in creating optimal conditions including a collaborative and authentic therapeutic relationship built on trust, understanding and compassion. Olivia is committed to being on the journey with you, to prepare and guide, create a safe comfortable environment, provide calm, peaceful energy and then to process and reflect in a meaningful and effective way.

Olivia draws from several approaches, always with a whole person, relational lens – mainly from person-centered, mindfulness, somatic approaches, DBT (advanced DBT training) narrative therapy( trained in TFCBT) and CBT.

She values self-compassion, finding balance in life, and feeling a connectedness to the universe and those around you.

Olivia has a passion for nature and animals and enjoys gardening and being outside with a balance of bingo and binge-worthy TV. She lives in the St. Paul area with her husband, daughter, 2 dogs and cat. With a goal of adding a rescue horse to the mix!
